Job summary

SGS is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to handle samples and perform analyses, producing accurate data in line with SOPs and test methods. You will maintain equipment and document quality activities, reporting any deficiencies to the supervisor.

The role requires a Bachelor's (or equivalent laboratory experience) and 2 years of bench work, with experience in PCR, ELISA and related methods. Shift: Tue–Sat, early hours in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field or commercial laboratory experience.
• 2 years of lab/bench experience required.
• Experience with PCR, Hygiena BAX and GENE-UP, ELISA testing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handles samples, performs analyses and reports accurate data per procedures and test methodologies.
• Maintains and verifies laboratory equipment.
• Reports deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Keeps records of quality activities as documented in procedures and test methods.
• Identifies and records nonconformities on corrective action requests.

• Handles samples and performs analyses according to Operating Procedures and test methodology
• Maintains and verifies equipment
• Reports deficiencies or malfunction to the supervisor
• Maintains records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures and test methods
• Identifies and records nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests

• Experience with the following instruments/techniques:PCR experience. Hygiena BAXandGENE-UP, ELISA testing, and reporting.

Shift Requirements:

Hours and days of work: Tuesday - Saturday (Sunday, Monday off)
Time: 2:45am - 11:15am; Overtime as needed
