Actalent is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to perform routine microbiology testing on dietary supplements and probiotic products. You will prepare samples, media, and dilutions, and conduct testing for organisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria.

Responsibilities include plating, colony counting, and documentation, while adhering to procedures and quality standards. This role offers onsite work in Madison, WI with opportunities for growth within the lab team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science field.
• Laboratory experience through coursework, research, internships, or academic projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous laboratory experience is helpful but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
