What are we looking for in our Microbiologist?

Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for Microbiologist. Seeking a skilled Microbiologist to perform SARS-CoV-2 and public health testing on wastewater and water samples. Responsibilities include molecular testing (RNA extraction, PCR), quality control, data analysis, and compliance with safety and certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct wastewater concentration, RNA extraction, and PCR testing.
2. Maintain accurate laboratory records and report results.
3. Evaluate and validate test results and quality control data.
4. Ensure compliance with safety standards and certification requirements.
5. Assist in preparing data reports and evaluating new laboratory products.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.
2. Experience in RNA/DNA extraction and PCR testing.
3. Proficiency in molecular testing principles and laboratory safety practices.
4. Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

Additional Information:

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46201
Duration: 9+ months contract
Work hours: Monday–Friday, 7.5 hours/day.
Pay range: $22-$23.50/hr. on W2
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
