Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science or similar field preferred
• GLP knowledge preferred but not required
• Strong data analysis and basic statistics understanding

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing on foods, environmental samples, raw materials and finished goods.
• Prepare media, reagents, solutions and consumables per protocols with accuracy and sterility.
• Maintain aseptic techniques to protect sample integrity and ensure reliable results.
• Record/test results in LIMS or logbooks accurately and timely.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment (incubators, autoclaves, PCR instruments, balances) as needed.
• Support method verifications, validations and proficiency tests under supervision.
• Assist in environmental monitoring, swabbing and trend documentation.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready GMP-compliant lab spaces and storage areas.
