Job description

Clover Consulting (a Myticas company) is seeking an entry-level Micro Lab Technician to join the dynamic Microbiology Lab team of a large direct client in Ada, Michigan. This position operates within the Quality Control Unit and offers a 6-month contract with the potential for extension.

In this role, you will be responsible for logging samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and compositing samples for Microbiological Quality Control Testing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in microbiology and quality control within a laboratory environment. The position requires work in both the manufacturing area and the microbiology laboratory, depending on project needs. Occasional weekend work may be required once training is complete.

Key Responsibilities :

• Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Composite samples for Microbiological Quality Control Testing
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Maintain accurate records of tests, sample handling, and laboratory activities
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate test results
• Assist with additional laboratory tasks as assigned by leadership

• This is a first-shift position (8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM EST).
• Occasional weekend work may be required once fully trained.
