Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of private equity experience, preferably middle or lower middle market.
• Strong experience evaluating, underwriting and executing middle-market transactions.
• Excellent financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and take ownership of complex transactions.
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with senior-level interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation of new investment opportunities from initial screening through execution.
• Drive detailed financial analysis, valuation, underwriting and transaction structuring.
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisors and other stakeholders.
• Develop and present detailed investment theses and recommendations to senior investment professionals and the Investment Committee.
• Work closely with management teams and portfolio company leadership following an acquisition.
• Support strategic initiatives, operational improvements and value creation across portfolio companies.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the investment team.
• Build relationships with investment banks, intermediaries, management teams and other key market participants.
