Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, a leading plaintiff personal injury firm, seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney for its Miami, FL office. The attorney will manage day-to-day pre-litigation tasks, guide clients through the case process, and draft/prep pre-litigation documents with a focus on automotive personal injury.

The candidate must have a law degree, be in good standing with the FL Bar, and possess 1+ years of PI experience, plus strong writing and leadership abilities to mentor a team of Case Managers.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
• 1+ years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily automotive.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team.
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements.
