Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Event Security member for the Nu Soccer Stadium in Miami. This role checks bags, enforces access control and upholds venue policies while delivering friendly customer service.

Requirements include being 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, and a current FL State Security D license. Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test apply. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a customer or company owned vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry into venue and verify tickets, wristbands, and badges as needed.
• Screen guests during entry using bag searches, wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests as needed.
• Understand policies and regulations of different venues and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests at entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and suggestions to enhance guests' entertainment experience.
