Job summary

Vinfen, in partnership with DMH and MMHC, seeks a licensed clinician with MI/PSB expertise to deliver outpatient treatment, conduct specialized assessments, and guide care planning for individuals in the Metro Boston area.

The role offers clinical supervision, interprofessional collaboration, and potential Harvard Medical School teaching involvement, with HMS appointment at Lecturer/Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor level depending on record.

Qualifications

• License to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (social work, psychology, or mental health counseling). Independent licensure LICSW or LMHC (not LCSW) with 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in risk assessment and mental health evaluation.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to provide consultation, training and supervision.
• Ability to act quickly in crisis and collaborate effectively in groups.

Responsibilities

• Provides outpatient MIPSB treatment as scheduled and develops an individualized plan.
• Leads MIPSB group therapy and participates in weekly team meetings.
• Conducts MIPSB-specific evaluations, including consultations and comprehensive assessments.
• Provides MIPSB care coordination, outreach, and engagement as needed.
• Collaborates with collateral providers and translates assessments into treatment plans.
