Job summary

Hillard Electric, Inc is seeking a Licensed Michigan Journeyman Electrician to join our Cedar Springs service team. This full-time role offers a 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, Cedar Springs, MI area, and a pay range of $30.00–$40.00 per hour DOE with an excellent benefits package.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for commercial and industrial customers, mentor apprentices, and travel regionally to project sites. A strong NEC knowledge base and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Electrical Journeyman license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to travel regionally to project sites.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems per NEC.
• Provide teaching and mentoring to apprentices.
• Travel to regional customer locations for commercial/industrial work.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Lead safety initiatives and OSHA compliance.
