Job summary

Hillard Electric in Cedar Springs, MI is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its growing team. You will analyze project plans, prepare take-offs, and develop accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical contracting work.

Responsibilities include learning ACCUBID/TRIMBLE estimating software, researching supplier pricing, and collaborating with project managers to deliver competitive bids while ensuring NEC compliance and high-quality proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing plans and costs for electrical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and specs to produce accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and material quantities for bids.
• Learn and use ACCUBID/TRIMBLE estimating software for cost estimation
• Research pricing from suppliers and subs
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to refine estimates
• Use CRM to track and manage estimates
• Ensure compliance with NEC and industry standards
