Job summary
Hillard Electric, a Crete United company, is seeking an experienced Licensed Michigan Journeyman Electrician to join its service team in the Cedar Springs area.
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; pay $30.00–$40.00 per hour DOE plus excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision). Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems per the NEC, mentoring apprentices, and regional travel to project sites.
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Journeyman license required (5+ years).
- Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience with motors, control systems, and PLCs.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems per NEC.
- Provide teaching and mentoring to apprentices.
- Travel to regional customer locations for complex industrial and commercial work.
- Perform wire pulls and motor connections.
- Participate in safety programs and OSHA 10-hour training.
- Collaborate with utility providers.
