Job summary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe is hiring full‑time Mental Health Techs (MHTs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide dedicated care to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and monitoring therapy groups. Ideal candidates will have prior psychiatric care experience and a CNA certification. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the physical, psychological, emotional, and well‑being of each patient.
• Assist with ADLs, meals, patient hygiene, room cleanliness, and other assigned patient care activities.
• Monitor therapy groups under the direct supervision of licensed or certified professionals.
• Contribute to patient records by collecting and documenting data relevant to patients.
• Perform a variety of clinical and patient care duties under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Perform routine patient care and related duties, including laundering patients' clothing and cleaning equipment.
• Promote and practice patient safety, infection control, and proper body mechanics.

Freedom Behavioral Monroe/West Monroe facility is an 82-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing specialized mental and behavioral health services for the geriatric population. The hospital delivers a comprehensive range of care, including inpatient and outpatient treatment options designed to support the unique needs of older adults.

Position
