Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a MHS GENESIS Application Support Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency by developing analytics across HDI and Oracle platforms. This role focuses on backend revenue cycle data extracts, financial reporting, and data-driven insights for RCIM initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines advanced SQL/CCL skills with healthcare revenue cycle domain expertise and will support DHA leadership across MHS Data Systems, including the HDI platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum three years of backend application support experience.
• Expert-level SQL or CCL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve issues impacting revenue cycle, registration, and scheduling workflows.
• Develop and optimize Vertica SQL queries and reusable extracts for analytics.
• Diagnose root causes affecting billing, claims, or encounter workflows and coordinate fixes.
• Use SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI to extract and interpret financial and operational data.
• Produce professional deliverables: dashboards, data dictionaries, and executive summaries.
• Support ITSM processes and testing/validation of analytic releases.
