Job summary

New Communities, Inc. seeks a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) to support adults with persistent mental health challenges in a residential setting.

You will help clients achieve goals from their personal plans and promote inclusive community participation. This part-time overnight position in Bangor offers paid training, tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and a pathway to professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or over.
• Active driver's license.
• Direct care experience preferred, but training is provided.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to achieve goals as established in personal plans.
• Encourage change through positive reinforcement.
• Administer medication.
• Promote client community integration and inclusion.
• Attend and promote recreational and social outings using company vehicles.
