Job summary

New Communities, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) to support adults with persistent mental health challenges in a residential setting.

You will help clients reach goals in personalized plans, administer medications as directed, and promote inclusion and community integration. Offered are paid training opportunities, tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision insurance, and a supportive team environment in Windham, Maine.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Active driver9s license.
• Experience in direct care preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with persistent mental health challenges in a residential setting.
• Assist clients to achieve goals established in personal plans.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Promote community integration and inclusion.
• Attend recreational and social outings and activities with clients.
• Use company vehicles for client transportation.
