Job summary

New Communities, Inc. in Biddeford, ME is seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) to support adults with persistent mental health challenges in a residential setting.

You will help clients achieve goals through a personal plan, reinforce positive changes, and administer medications as directed, while promoting community integration and outings using company vehicles. This role offers paid training opportunities, tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, 403(b)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver license required.
• Direct care experience preferred but not required.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to adults with persistent mental health challenges within a residential setting.
• Help clients achieve goals established in their personal plan.
• Promote positive reinforcement to encourage change and medication administration as directed.
• Promote client community integration and inclusion and participate in recreational/outings with clients using company vehicles.
