Job summary

ID Logistics US is seeking a warehouse associate to operate powered industrial equipment within a distribution center. You will load/unload, stock, stock rotate, and prepare products for shipment, while maintaining safety and accuracy in inventory records.

The role requires attention to safety protocols, ability to pass assessments, and willingness to obtain necessary certifications. On-site work at the distribution facility is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
  • Must pass post-hire assessments.
  • Must obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA).
  • Must wear PPE per safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Inspect assigned equipment daily.
  • Operate equipment safely following work methods and OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations.
  • Stack and store products in appropriate areas.
  • Prepare products for shipment and verify accuracy of load.

TEMP CONVERSION

$19 per hour

Description of the Position:

Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
  • On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
  • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
  • Assist in physical inventories.Ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
  • Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
  • Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
  • Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
