Job summary

ID Logistics US in Ocala, FL is seeking a Warehouse Operator to pick/put-away boxes, load and unload using powered equipment, and keep facilities safe and organized. You will inspect gear daily, coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance, and ensure accurate shipments.

Weekend shift Fri–Sun, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, with $18.50/hr base plus $1.50 shift differential. Responsibilities include stocking, staging, inventory checks, and adherence to GMP and OSHA safety rules while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required by safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Pick or Put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA).
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas neat, clean and orderly.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily.
• Operate all equipment safely following OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Stock and store product in appropriate areas.
• Prepare products for shipment and ensure correct quantities/types are loaded.
• Move product from staging to rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Report quality variances and maintain inventory records.
• Assist in physical inventories and proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements for load count and safety.

• On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Weekend Days: Friday-Sunday
• 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary

• $18.50 per hour
• Shift differential $1.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
