Job summary

Id Logistics in Ocala, Florida is hiring for a warehouse associate on the first shift. You will pick/put-away, load/unload, and stage products using powered equipment, maintaining order and safety throughout the facility.

The role requires a GED/HS diploma with 3+ years of related experience and the ability to obtain equipment certifications. Expect a structured shift with overtime potential and competitive benefits.

• Able to wear personal protective equipment per safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Pick or Put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA).
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
• Move product from staging/storage into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances and keep records for tight inventory control.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Follow customer requirements to ensure accuracy: load count, stability, and safe loading/unloading.
• Coordinate with departments (Customer Service, Transportation, Maintenance).
• Practice good housekeeping and clean as you go.
• Conduct operations safely and report unsafe conditions to leadership.
• Observe Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance.
• Follow safety rules; support safety enforcement.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• $18.50 per hour
• Shift differential $1.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
