Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Warehouseman/MHE Operator to support warehousing and distribution by safely operating forklifts and other MHE to load, unload, transport, and stage equipment. This role ensures accurate cargo handling and accountability to sustainment and logistics missions.

Responsibilities include receiving cargo, verifying paperwork, and maintaining safety standards while coordinating with units and personnel. A valid forklift/MHE license and active clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of related experience; military experience may substitute one-for-one.
• Must be proficient in speaking and reading English.
• Knowledge of forklift operation, safety procedures, and warehouse practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and per certification requirements.
• Assist Stock Clerks with issuing, receiving, and turning in equipment.
• Receive incoming cargo and verify manifests and turn-in forms.
• Unload and load equipment from incoming shipments.
• Transport and stock equipment according to warehouse layout and locations.
• Conduct daily PMCS of forklifts and government furnished equipment.
