Job summary

DHL in Texas is seeking a Labor MHE Operator Forklift responsible for operating powered clamp equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack and count products in a fast-paced, safety-focused warehouse. You may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy, and complying with OSHA/MSDS standards. Shift: 1st, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; pay $19.50/hr with monthly attendance bonuses for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift training within the first 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring exact numbers and types are loaded.
• Keep records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check load count, stability, and product damage; report variances.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift Schedule:

Regular nonpeak hrs. 7:00AM-3:30PM / Peak Season Hrs. 5:00AM - 3:30PM

Pay: 19.50 per Hr.
