Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Tukwila, WA is seeking a skilled Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician/Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs on forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar units, ensuring safe operation and minimizing downtime.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, document work orders, and collaborate with the team; benefits include weekly pay and comprehensive medical coverage, with opportunities for growth and ASE certification

Qualifications

4+ years hands-on experience in material handling equipment maintenance and repair.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on diesel engines, brakes, tires, A/C systems, and MHE.
Valid driver license and ability to maintain tools.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs on material handling equipment (forklifts, stand-up lifts, walk-behind lifts, pallet jacks).
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related systems.
Document repairs and complete work orders; maintain clean, organized work area.
