Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an MHE Service Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on LP and electric forklifts, including PMs, fluid changes, and tune-ups. You will diagnose steering and overheating issues, inspect batteries, and replace parts with a focus on reliability.

This role requires 1–2 years of forklift troubleshooting, hands-on experience with attachments, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years troubleshooting on electric or LP forklifts.
• Hands-on with attachments and related repairs.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, LP, and hydraulic systems; DVOM.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and follow service manuals.
• Strong customer service and communication; MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel; bring your own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on LP and electric forklifts.
• Execute PM services: fluid changes, filters, tune-ups, brakes and tires.
• Inspect and water forklift batteries; service or replace as needed.
• Diagnose steering and overheating issues using DVOM.
• Replace parts and perform minor paint touch-ups; maintain parts.
• Hit performance targets and maintain 80–90% productivity.
