Pecan Valley Centers Mental Health Clinic in Mineral Wells, TX, is seeking a licensed vocational nurse to join a fast-paced mental health team. The LVN will perform assessments, document care, authorize prescriptions, and administer injections while coordinating with physicians and care teams.

The position requires region-wide travel, a Monday–Friday day shift, and a focus on compassionate patient advocacy with excellent customer service. LVN licensure in Texas is required.

Aufgaben

• Perform focused physical assessments (vital signs, EKGs, labs).

• Engage in frequent communication with physicians, ANPs, patients, caregivers, case managers, clinic staff, insurers and pharmacies.
• Region-wide travel required.

Job Details: Job Location: Mineral Wells Clinic - Mineral Wells, TX 76067, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $23.00 - $27.30 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Salary is on a tier scale based upon years of experience.

LVN to join mental health team in a fast paced Pecan Valley Centers Mental Health Clinic providing services to children and adults with serious mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. Monday through Friday (usual hours are 8am - 5pm). Minimal overtime.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• focused physical assessments (vital signs, EKG's, labs),
• prior authorizations
• timely concurrent computer documentation / prescription drug ordering
• injectable medication administration
• frequent phone, email, face to face and telemedicine interaction with physicians, ANPs, patients, caregivers, case managers, clinic manager, front office staff, insurance companies and pharmacies.

Region-wide travel required.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Must be able to pass an agency required physical. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 25 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead.
