Job summary

Pecan Valley Centers Mental Health Clinic in Weatherford, TX is seeking an LVN to join a fast-paced mental health team serving children and adults with serious mental illness and developmental disabilities. Schedule is typically Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with minimal overtime; region-wide travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an LVN in Texas.
• Mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vitals, EKGs, labs and focused physical assessments.
• Process prior authorizations and document concurrently in the EMR.
• Administer injectable medications.
• Coordinate communication with physicians, patients, caregivers, and insurers.
• Support case managers, clinic staff and pharmacy coordination.

Job DetailsJob Location: Weatherford Clinic - Weatherford, TX 76086Position Type: PRNSalary Range: $24.25 - $28.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayPay rate is on an experience based tier scale.

LVN to join mental health team in a fast paced Pecan Valley Centers Mental Health Clinic providing services to children and adults with serious mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. Monday through Friday (usual hours are 8am - 5pm). Minimal overtime.

Region-wide travel required.

Duties

• focused physical assessments (vital signs, EKG's, labs),
• prior authorizations
• timely concurrent computer documentation / prescription drug ordering
• injectable medication administration
• frequent phone, email, face to face and telemedicine interaction with physicians, ANPs, patients, caregivers, case managers, clinic manager, front office staff, insurance companies and pharmacies.

QualificationsQualifications:

• Licensed to practice as a Vocational nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas
• Some mental health experience preferred.
