Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a MH-IDD Technician for the 1st shift in New Bern, NC. This full-time role provides community-based intervention and prevention services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs, including therapeutic respite and crisis management.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of direct support experience or a Bachelor's degree in Human services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year of direct support experience preferred.
• Direct support experience with individuals with mental health/IDD and behavioral challenges preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human services may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for individuals with disabilities in community or residential settings.
• Assist individuals in identifying needs and requests for services.
• Support crisis management and implement approved behavioral plans.
• Collaborate with team to deliver integrated care.
