ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CHILD SAFETY is seeking a Management Analyst 2 - Learning Management System Specialist to support the statewide LMS in Phoenix. You will ensure efficient system operations, reporting accuracy, and compliance with training requirements across the organization.

Responsibilities include LMS administration, system improvements, compliance reporting, data integrity, and stakeholder collaboration, with leadership in upgrades and user training to promote effective training

  • Technical Support & Leadership: Serve as the primary LMS point of contact for internal teams and external partners; troubleshoot issues; lead system upgrades and training.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business needs into system solutions and track issues to resolution.

Job Summary

Join our team as a Systems Analyst supporting a statewide Learning Management System (LMS). In this role, you’ll help ensure efficient system operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with training requirements across the organization.

Job Duties
LMS Administration & System Improvement
  • Manage and enhance the agency’s LMS to support training and compliance needs
  • Maintain system standards, including course structure, naming conventions, and user access
  • Develop and update procedures, documentation, and internal controls
  • Analyze system changes and recommend effective solutions
Compliance & Reporting
  • Produce and validate reports to support leadership, program areas, and external partners
  • Monitor system performance to ensure compliance with policies and requirements
  • Identify and resolve data integrity issues to maintain reliable records
Technical Support & Leadership
  • Serve as the primary LMS point of contact for internal teams and external partners
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and support users statewide
  • Lead or assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Provide guidance and training on LMS functionality and compliance processes
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Track and resolve system issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of training records for staff and providers

Selective Preference(s)

Two years of management analysis experience in learning management systems and/or database applications; OR four years of non-management analysis experience with learning management systems and/or database applications. Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in database programming or management, training technology.

Pre-Employment Requirements

The ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, and the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
