Ally Financial seeks a senior leader to guide a team of software engineers and technology professionals focused on Supply Chain Technology integrations, automation, and AI initiatives. You will own strategy, roadmaps, delivery, and operations across enterprise integrations with internal and third-party platforms.

You will drive automation opportunities, establish standards and governance, and ensure scalable, secure solutions that support supply chain objectives.

Work Schedule

Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

Lead a team of software engineers and technology professionals responsible for Supply Chain Technology integrations, automation, and AI initiatives. Own the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and operational support of enterprise integrations between internal and third-party platforms, drive automation opportunities across supply chain processes, and champion the adoption of AI solutions that create measurable business value. This role is accountable for building high-performing teams, establishing technical standards and governance, managing delivery portfolios, and ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions that support the organization’s supply chain objectives.

The Work Itself

Lead the design, delivery, and optimization of Supply Chain Technology solutions, ensuring enterprise integrations, automation capabilities, and AI-enabled services meet business objectives, technical requirements, and operational standards.

Oversee testing, validation, and deployment activities for integration, automation, and AI solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and successful business adoption.

Establish and maintain technical, operational, and support documentation for integrations, automation platforms, AI capabilities, and associated technology services.

Define and enforce security, resiliency, backup, disaster recovery, and governance strategies across the Supply Chain Technology portfolio.

Lead and develop a team responsible for the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise integrations, automation platforms, and AI initiatives, ensuring high service quality and operational excellence.

Drive the planning, prioritization, and execution of technology enhancements, platform upgrades, new integrations, automation opportunities, and AI use cases in partnership with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal technology teams.

Establish governance, standards, and best practices for system integrations, automation development, and AI implementation, ensuring compliance with Change Management, Release Management, IT Risk, Security, Compliance, and AI Governance requirements.

Develop and manage the Supply Chain Technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve business processes, increase operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and leverage AI-driven capabilities to deliver measurable business value.

Build strong partnerships with business leaders and technology teams to align integration, automation, and AI investments with strategic supply chain and enterprise objectives.

Qualifications We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience leading technology teams, integrations, automation, or AI initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, APIs, automation platforms, and AI technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, security controls, data governance, and enterprise technology standards.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, solution design, and technology delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of risk, compliance, audit, and AI governance requirements.
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on efficiency, automation, and business value.
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Base Pay Range $110,000.00 - $180,000.00. An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
