HCA Healthcare's Wesley Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead unit-level patient care, oversee resources, and ensure high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes coordination of services, accountability for daily operations, and alignment with the hospital's mission and values.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, has supervisory experience, and maintains Kansas RN licensure with current BLS. This on-site leadership position supports strategic care delivery across the Wesley Medical

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Kansas as RN or current multi-state RN license
• Current BLS verification through AHA or ARC Healthcare Provider CPR
• Dysrhythmia exam completion preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Three years supervisory experience required

Position Requirements

Required Registration , Licensure or Certification

• Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR

Preferred Registration, Licensure or Certification

• Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam within allotted time frame, as specified in policy

Required Education or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Three years supervisory experience

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including, but not limited to, administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other healthcare providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
• Possess personal computer skills
• Ability to multi-task, delegate and prioritize
• Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Surgical Oncology experience
