Job summary

American Textile Company is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Lead responsible for facility and maintenance services across multiple sites in Georgia. You will oversee utilities, machinery, HVAC, and safety systems, drive compliance with preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate cross-training for maintenance staff.

You will identify cost-saving opportunities, manage vendor contracts, plan capital projects, and ensure a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide facility/maintenance management for multiple sites, overseeing utilities, machine repair, HVAC, fire/life safety, plumbing, and related systems.
• Follow and enforce company-wide preventive maintenance programs to ensure compliance with facilities requirements.
• Develop and implement maintenance training and cross-training programs to enhance technician capabilities.
• Identify and drive cost savings, service enhancements, and process improvements within maintenance, including negotiating vendor contracts.
• Plan and manage long- and short-term capital projects and engage outside service providers as needed.
• Oversee all maintenance, facilities, safety, and security contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with budgets and agreements.
• Ensure facilities are clean and safe, with proper debris removal and hazard minimization, maintaining a professional working environment.
• Coordinate with Corporate to adopt and apply best practices across the organization.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for facility/maintenance services for multiple sites, company-wide inspections, maintenance and cross training programs, identification and implementation of cost-savings initiatives, long-term capital projects, maintenance, facilities, safety and security contracts.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance/Facilities

• Provide facility/maintenance management services for multiple sites. Manage through leadership, the maintenance functions in all areas of building/equipment maintenance, including utilities service, machine repair, conveyor systems, compressed air systems, HVAC, fire/life safety systems, as well as plumbing/water and sewer.
• Follow company-wide comprehensive inspection/PM process to ensure on-site Programs are compliant with maintenance/facilities requirements.
• Creates/follows maintenance training and cross training programs to continuously improve the technical abilities and capabilities of maintenance associates.
• Responsible for identifying and implementing cost savings initiatives, service enhancements and process improvements within the maintenance function. Responsible for creating and negotiating outside vendors’ contracts to complete service and repairs to the company’s facility and equipment in compliance with maintenance agreements and within expected budgetary guidelines.
• Take responsibility for long and short-term capital projects and planning, including outside service providers.
• Responsible for all maintenance, facilities, safety and security contracts for vendor services.
• Ensures company facilities are maintained to standard, inside and outside areas are free from debris and other hazards, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Upgrade/improve existing processes/procedures. Regularly coordinate with Corporate to initialize and apply “Best Practices
