We are looking for a strategic Domestic Transportation Manager with global experience who thrives under pressure. This role is responsible for managing our Americas transportation 3PL partner to ensure strong performance of our North American parcel, less-than-truckload (LTL), truckload (TL), and drayage modes. This includes working closely with our 3PL partner, transportation providers, and internal/external stakeholders (business units, suppliers, and customers) to ensure strong performance in cost, quality, on-time pickup, and on-time delivery. This position manages and improves approximately $100 million in annual transportation spend.

This position requires at least 5-10 years of North American transportation management experience. It is a US-based remote position, with candidates possibly required to work East Coast time depending on physical location, and travel up to 25% as needed.

What your background should look like:

Manage transportation volume across the US, Mexico, and Canada, including Full Truck Loads, Less Than Truck Loads, and Small Parcel services.
Experience managing transportation operations in scenarios such as:

  • Standard Full Truck Loads and Less Than Truck Loads
  • In-Bond shipments
  • Cross-Border US-CA-MX operations
  • Port to Door shipments (Air and Ocean)
  • Small parcel services

Experience managing 3PL transportation providers and integrating TMS with supply chain operations. Manage network efficiency through KPIs like on-time pickup/delivery %, cargo claims, shipment quality, and costs. Perform analytics to identify freight cost savings, routes, and mode optimizations.

  • Knowledge of logistics cost drivers (weight, dims, accessorials, space management)

Lead projects for freight cost savings, cargo consolidation, and lead time reduction. Collaborate with departments like Logistics, Planning, Purchasing, and Compliance to enhance supply chain performance. Prepare executive reports and presentations. Knowledge of US and Mexico trade documentation and INCOTERMS is required. Experience with RFP processes is a plus.

Preferred background:

Minimum 5 years in North American transportation management. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering, or 10 years relevant experience. Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects, and proficient in MS Office and TMS systems (SAP, S4HANA). Bilingual English/Spanish skills required. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

PowerBi, Tableau, SAP knowledge, process improvement training (Six Sigma), dashboarding skills, and understanding of South American transportation.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary: $89,300 – $134,000, plus incentives and benefits. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and voluntary benefits.
