Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned Senior Communications Manager to lead development and delivery of employee communications that drive clarity, alignment, and engagement across the organization.

You will partner with leaders to translate business priorities into actionable messages, supervise the communications team, and ensure brand-consistent content across multiple channels. This role is based in Phoenix, supporting a forward-thinking, private employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, including 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity required.
• CMP or APR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategy for communications programs and campaigns across channels.
• Supervises communications staff, assigning work, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
• Partners with leadership to translate strategic priorities into clear messaging frameworks and editorial plans.
• Oversees content standards, review processes, and quality control to ensure accuracy, accessibility, inclusivity and adherance to brand standards.
• Coordinates measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement using engagement and feedback data.
• Aligns internal messaging with organizational culture, values, and Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
• Manages vendor and budget needs related to employee communications activities.

Anticipated starting pay range
