Job summary

Rheem’s Water Heating division in Montgomery, AL, is seeking an Air and Gas Tester to inspect tanks and gas lines for leaks, ensuring quality and safety before packaging. The role requires standing, lifting, and working under wet conditions, with adherence to departmental safety standards.

The position supports Rheem values and collaborates with internal and external customers, performing other duties as assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Eye exam will be administered.
• Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs.
• Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs.
• Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk and/or lift repetitively during shift.
• Must be able to frequently lift in unsupported positions as well as bend, twist/turn, reach, push/pull.
• Must be able to work in wet conditions.
• Must have vision level appropriate for inspection.
