Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years trade book design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Portfolio showcasing strong book design and typography, including children’s design.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Work with art directors, publishers, and editors to develop covers and support publishing programs.
• Design high-quality covers and sales materials from concept to print-ready PDFs.
• Research and hire illustrators; handle contracts and payments; present art samples.
• Art direct illustrators from concept to final art for covers of assigned titles.
• Prepare covers and interior mechanicals for routing and production per printing standards.
