Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a talented MFM Ultrasound Senior Technologist for our New Bedford, MA practice. You will operate in a day shift (8:00am–4:30pm), supporting Maternal Fetal Medicine patients and coordinating ultrasound services.

Required ARDMS in OB/GYN, NT certification within 6 months, and 2+ years in MFM. BLS and full vaccination are required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Compensation is determined by experience, with a $10,000 sign-on for new hires.

Qualifications

• Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program completed and ARDMS OB/GYN.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine experience.
• NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification within 6 months.
• ARDMS registration required.
• Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the assigned modality personnel.
• Perform patient procedures as part of daily duties per standards.
• Support Interventional Radiology/Maternal Fetal Medicine workflows.

$10,000new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: New Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice - New Bedford, MA

Under the direction of the Manager, Interventional Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified duties involving coordinating the daily operations, equipment and activities of assigned modality personnel. Responsible to perform patient procedures as part of daily duties including the essential functions and performance standards of assigned staff.

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and attainments of certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in OBGYN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine is required
• NT (Nuchal Transclucency) certification is required withing 6 months.
• A Bachelors Degree is preferred.
• Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
