GBMC HealthCare is seeking a certified MFM Sonographer for a full-time position in Towson, MD. The candidate will operate advanced ultrasound equipment, perform perinatal exams, and document findings to assist physicians.

The role emphasizes high-quality imaging and collaboration with OB/GYN teams. The ideal applicant has MFM experience, completion of a recognized ultrasound program, and CPT/ RDMS OB/GYN credentials.

Formación

• Completion of a one-year ultrasound training program or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of supervised on-the-job ultrasound training; MFM experience preferred.
• RN/CPR certification and specialized MFM credentials are required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate multi-modality ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images for OB/GYN patients.
• Position patients and adjust equipment settings for each examination.
• Document ultrasound findings to aid physician interpretation.
• Perform and document perinatal ultrasound procedures with attention to MFM specifics.
• Demonstrate ability to guide physicians during invasive procedures when required.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations.
