Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks a skilled MFM Sonographer to provide advanced obstetric ultrasound services, assist with amniocentesis and CVS, and support high-risk obstetric care. You will work with MFM physicians, APPs, and staff to ensure diagnostic quality imaging and patient-centered care.

The role requires ARDMS credentials (OB/GYN, FE preferred) and 2+ years in maternal-fetal medicine or high-risk OB, with a focus on education, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (CAAHEP).
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (OB/GYN) credential.
• ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) registry preferred.
• Two years of related work experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine or high-risk obstetrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-risk obstetric ultrasound studies per protocol.
• Assist MFM physicians with invasive procedures (amniocentesis, CVS).
• Import images and clinical data into Viewpoint and PACS; document records accurately.
• Evaluate fetal anatomy, growth and well-being; obtain additional images as needed.
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms; ensure supplies and cleanliness; adhere to infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and mentor students.
