Job Title: MFM Sonographer / High-Risk OB Sonographer

Shift / Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Fridays close early at 2:00 PM)

Expected Hours: 37 hours/week

On-Call / Weekend Requirements: None

Start Date: October 12

Weekly Compensation: $3,277 - $3,536/week

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer to join a premier outpatient maternal-fetal care team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will work alongside experienced MFM specialists to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnant patients.

This position offers a predictable weekday schedule with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call hours, along with early Friday finishes!

Clinical Scope & Workflows

• Patient Volume: Manage an comfortable average of 10–11 patients per day, allowing for dedicated patient focus and thorough clinical evaluation.
• Scan Types & Time Allocations:
• Detailed / Level II Scans: 45-minute appointment slots (capped at 3–4 detailed scans per day).
• BPPs, Growth Scans, & Dopplers: 30-minute appointment slots.
• Procedures: Assist physicians with in-office amniocenteses and cerclage removals as needed.
• Note: Fetal echocardiograms are not performed in-house.
• Equipment & Technology:
• Ultrasound Machines: GE Voluson and Philips Elite units.
• Reporting & EHR: GE ViewPoint (primary reporting workflow) and Epic (chart review and exam tracking).
• Inpatient Coverage: Occasional inpatient coverage during regular clinic hours using a mobile GE unit.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Active ARDMS certification with specialized experience in OB/GYN.
• Experience: Proven proficiency in maternal-fetal medicine / high-risk obstetrical scanning workflows.
• Strong diagnostic skills, meticulous detail in reporting, and compassionate patient communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification, Fetal Echo, or specialized MFM credentials.
• Systems Experience: Hands-on experience with Epic EHR and GE ViewPoint reporting software.

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Total Weekly Hours: 35 - 37 hours per week
