Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in MFM to perform high-frequency sonography and assist in fetal imaging.

You will work within OB/GYN routines, handle portable exams, assist physicians with biopsies and color-flow studies, and maintain equipment. The role includes patient preparation, data recording, student instruction, and weekend rotations within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ultrasound school.
• 2 years training in allied health/college.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and operation.
• Familiar with ASOBGYN reporting system.
• Ability to work weekends on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures according to departmental format, completing exam in allotted time.
• Uses ASOBGYN, Epic scheduling, and other computer systems as added by Medical Center.
• Performs portable ultrasound exams when necessary.
• Assists with complex fetal procedures and color-flow ultrasound as required.
• Prepares patients and sets up equipment; explains procedures.
• Maintains records and image data; archives/der archives data as required.
• Calibrates, cleans and maintains equipment; stocks supplies.
• Provides instruction to students, new employees, residents and medical students.
