Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to provide diagnostic ultrasound in a high-risk obstetric setting at the Willowbrook Office.

Responsibilities include performing detailed fetal surveys, assisting with procedures, and preparing reports. ARDMS certification and OB/GYN or Fetal Echo eligibility are required, with ongoing education and ability to rotate among locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo (FE) certification or eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details.
• Record patient history and indications per protocol.
• Generate preliminary reports for interpretting physician review.
• Review studies with physicians to confirm findings and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and hygiene standards.
• Rotate to other locations to cover absences.
