Job summary

Valley Perinatal Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division as an Advanced Practice Provider. This full-time role focuses on high-risk obstetric care in a collaborative, team-based setting.

You will assess high-risk patients, coordinate care with MFM physicians and OB/GYN teams, educate patients, and help develop care plans across outpatient and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• National certification (FNP, WHNP, or NCCPA for PAs).
• Active or eligible Arizona licensure.
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or high-risk obstetrics is preferred.
• Prior MFM or perinatal experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments for high-risk obstetric patients
• Assist in the management of complex pregnancies
• Collaborate with MFM physicians to develop and implement care plans
• Provide patient education and counseling on high-risk conditions and treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
• Coordinate care with OB/GYN providers, hospital teams, and specialists
• Interpret diagnostic testing and imaging (training provided as needed)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
