Assignments may occur during the regular summer break (May 15 – September 15) or as needed for on‑demand service to military members and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training and health‑and‑wellness presentations and participate in health fairs and other base activities.
  • Maintain daily counselor activity data via smartphone or web application, ensuring accurate reporting and confidentiality.
  • Work closely with installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to deliver services within scope and meet installation needs.
  • Serve as the on‑call or surge counselor to cover assignments for absent counselors or support surge demand.
  • Collaborate with POC to provide Adult and CYB services, establish working relationships with community resources, and provide appropriate linkages.
  • Communicate with Regional Supervisors, participate in individual and group supervision, and share information on trends and issues.
  • Respond to critical incidents or special requests from POC as directed.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in a mental‑health related field or social work from an accredited graduate program.
  • Current independent licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Therapist, or Social Worker that meets state or customer‑specific requirements.
  • U.S. citizenship and fluency in English.
