Job summary

DPR Construction in Phoenix is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Operator to support production by handling materials, operating forklifts and inspection devices, and ensuring equipment is ready and safe. You will work with production teams to maintain workflow, track inventory, and identify issues for corrective action.

A High School Diploma and 2–4 years of equipment experience are required, with forklift certification preferred.

  • Identify damaged materials or quality deficiencies and escalate findings.
  • Maintain inventory, movement, or activity records as required.
  • Coordinate with production teams to support scheduling and workflow needs.
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.

Job Summary:

Operates a range of manufacturing support equipment by independently executing material handling, tool operation, and inspection activities. Supports production efficiency by ensuring materials, tools, and devices are available, functional, and safely operated. Enhances workflow continuity by identifying equipment issues and applying standard corrective actions. Maintains compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements across equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operates equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, portable welders, and inspection devices in accordance with procedures.
  • Transports raw materials, components, and finished goods to designated locations to support production flow.
  • Performs routine equipment inspections and reports maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Identifies damaged materials or quality deficiencies and escalates findings appropriately.
  • Maintains accurate inventory, movement, or activity records as required.
  • Coordinates with production teams to support scheduling and workflow needs.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized equipment operating environment.
Education Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

2 – 4 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment, forklifts, or material handling systems required.

Certifications and Licenses:

Forklift certification preferred.
