Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Arizona to support efficient movement and storage of materials. You will follow established procedures, document materials, and help ensure timely delivery to correct locations while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of warehouse experience, and a valid forklift operator certification. Expect a collaborative team setting in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, inspects, and records incoming materials according to procedures.

  • Picks, packs, and stages materials for shipment or internal use with accuracy.
  • Conducts routine inventory counts and reports discrepancies to leadership.
  • Maintains clean and organized work areas and adheres to safety protocols.
  • Operates forklifts or pallet jacks as authorized and in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Job Summary:

Supports the efficient movement and storage of materials by following established procedures and adapting to changing operational needs. Contributes to team productivity and accuracy by ensuring materials are handled, documented, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner. Maintains a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promptly addressing potential hazards. Enhances workflow reliability by identifying and escalating more complex issues or discrepancies for resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives, inspects, and accurately records incoming materials in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Transports materials to designated storage or production areas using approved equipment, following all safety and operational guidelines.
  • Picks, packs, and stages materials for shipment or internal use, ensuring order accuracy and timely processing.
  • Conducts routine inventory counts and reconciles discrepancies, reporting issues to leadership for resolution.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work areas, promptly addressing spills or obstructions to ensure a safe environment.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as authorized and in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Identifies and escalates equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or process inefficiencies to leadership for timely resolution.
Education Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

Vocational/technical diploma in logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.

2-4 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:

Valid forklift operator certification required.
