MFG RDYS PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (Finance)

Position Summary:

Assist in the preparation of product while maintaining the highest quality standards. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to enhance the performance of the plant in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy. Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in food manufacturing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of related experience or training
  • Basic math skills, including computing rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to understand safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in groups

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality and freshness of all products
  • Set up, shut down, troubleshoot, and operate complex equipment such as homogenizers, blenders, fillers, etc.
  • Blend ingredients according to standards and recipes
  • Complete reports, charts, and records as required
  • Perform tanker receiving duties, including sampling and cleaning
  • Maintain production standards safely and hygienically
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
  • Report equipment issues for repair
  • Coordinate production activities
  • Manage waste or shrinkage in products
  • Follow safety and quality programs to produce safe, compliant foods
  • Support SQF 2000 System development and maintenance
  • Adhere to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
