Position Summary:

Assist in the preparation of products while maintaining the highest level of quality standards. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to enhance the performance of the entire plant in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy. Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience in food manufacturing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of related experience or training
  • Basic math skills, including rate, ratio, and percent calculations
  • Ability to interpret bar graphs, safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
  • Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in groups
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of all products
  • Set up, shut down, troubleshoot, and operate complex equipment such as homogenizers, blenders, and fillers
  • Blend ingredients per standards and recipes
  • Complete reports, charts, and records as required
  • Perform tanker receiving duties, including sampling and cleaning
  • Maintain production standards safely and hygienically
  • Keep work areas safe and sanitary, including equipment cleaning and disassembly
  • Report equipment issues for repairs
  • Coordinate food product production
  • Manage waste or product shrinkage
  • Follow policies to produce safe, quality foods meeting regulatory standards
  • Support SQF 2000 Systems development and implementation
  • Adhere to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
