Job Summary

Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of the assigned department to ensure efficient operations. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain and improve the plant's performance in Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR). Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of department operations and procedures.
  • Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing plant supervisor experience.
  • Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct area supervisors and associates in safe manufacturing practices, including hazard awareness and accountability.
  • Ensure proper scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs.
  • Communicate operational needs related to changeovers, preventative maintenance, waste, and materials.
  • Address quality or safety issues promptly across all organizational levels.
  • Participate in plant safety processes.
  • Oversee all plant areas to meet SQR standards for all products.
  • Adhere to programs, policies, and practices ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
