Under the general supervision of a supervisor or an employee of equal or higher rank, the Mfg. Eng. Resource Planner III is responsible for effectively allocating manufacturing resources for process planning creation and maintenance. Responsibilities include BOM consumption, Computer Aided Planning (CAP) routing creation, and manufacturing item orders for operations in Bell business systems. When a Manufacturing Computer Aided Design (MCAD) model exists, this role does not involve creating or maintaining manufacturing instructions (drawings & modeling). Knowledge of shop production and processing operations is essential. Work follows management strategies, program, and departmental processes using Bell Business Systems. The role may include training other employees.
Two years of college or equivalent experience in the aircraft industry or related Bell apprentice program. Demonstrated capability in applying GD&T/Aerospace tolerances, technical writing, and proficiency in planning software, Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP, CAD software. Preferred experience includes manufacturing of composite or metallic materials and machined parts. Strong communication skills are required. Must comply with ITAR regulations, being a U.S. person as defined by ITAR.
