Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory adherence for our Mexico operations. You will manage tax filings, research regulations, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize compliance strategies.

Ideal candidates have extensive tax experience, strong analytics, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires rigorous attention to Mexican tax laws, IFRS, and local GAAP with exposure to cross-border transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• CPA, Tax Certification or Master’s in Taxation (preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in tax management.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax laws, IFRS, and local GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory adherence for operations in Mexico.
• Manage federal, state, and municipal tax filings and payments (IVA, ISR, IEPS).
• Lead transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
• Prepare tax provisions for IFRS/Mexican GAAP.
• Coordinate annual SIPRED audit and respond to tax authority inquiries.
• Support monthly close and annual financial statement audits.
• Develop tax-efficient strategies to optimize tax position.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact.
